Dendrobium produces large rounded flowers. This variety falls in the Dendrobium-Phalaenopsis category, though the colour in the picture looks it is a shade of RED. The camera is unable to capture the beautiful dark blue. Since dendrobium orchids are easy to grow, they are also called beginner's orchids. Water them well and let them dry a bit between waterings, these plants will reward you with lovely blooms.
